Vishnu is the supreme Lord, where Azhwars much-worshipped Lord Vishnu. Their divine hymns are popularly known as Nalayira Divya Prabantham. The Divya Prabantham is the form of adoration of deities of 108 temples (Divya Desams). The shrines where the divine saints Azhwars have sung "Mangalaasaasanam" are called Divya Desams.
Azhwars, said to be the incarnations of Sriman Narayanan, have dedicated their lives to Emperuman by praising and doing Mangalasasanam on Sriman Narayananan. These Azhwars, 12 in number, include one woman, Sri Andal. They were born in various parts of the country but were united in their devotion to Lord Vishnu.

There are 108 Divya Desams, with 105 in India and 1 in Nepal; the remaining two, "Parama padam" and "Thiruppaarkadal," are in the celestial world.
The 106 Divya Desam are categorized based on kingdom:
- Chozanaattu Thirupadhigal - 40
- Nadunaattu Thirupadhigal - 2
- Thondainaattu Thirupadhigal - 22
- Malainaattu Thiupadhigal – 13
- Paandiyanaattu Thirupathigal - 18
- Vadanaattu Thirupadhigal - 11
The Azhwars received divine grace through darshan of Lord Vishnu. Pilgrims can do the same by visiting the temples, worshipping through meditation and trust in God. Worshiping all 106 Divya Desams will lead a devotee to the remaining two celestial Divya Desams accompanied by Lord Vishnu.
In the context of 108 Divya Desams, Lord Vishnu gains glory from the dedication of saints. The main purpose is to encourage users to visit all 108 temples for spiritual enrichment.
This app serves as a guide, providing information on the locations, presiding deities, Sthala purana, pasurams sung by Azhwars, historical details, and important festivals in each of these Divya Desams.
